FBS
InstaForex
FBS vs InstaForex pits two of the longest-running bonus brands in retail forex against each other. Both built their emerging-market followings on promotional generosity: FBS with a 100% first-deposit match and an app-driven ecosystem, InstaForex with headline numbers like a $3,500 StartUp bonus and deposit matches on every top-up. Neither currently has a verified no-deposit bonus, so this matchup is decided where both brokers actually compete — deposit bonus mechanics, regulation, and accessibility.
We score FBS 7.5/10 and InstaForex 6.5/10 in our review methodology. The gap comes less from bonus size than from what stands behind the bonuses: licensing, terms, and how much of the advertised value a normal trader can actually keep. Figures come from our Broker & Bonus Matrix — FBS’s deposit-bonus T&C and InstaForex’s two active bonus agreements were all re-verified against official documents on 7 August 2026.

Regulation Comparison
FBS Regulation
FBS holds four recorded licenses, including two tier-one:
- CySEC (Cyprus) — Tradestone Limited, License 331/17
- ASIC (Australia) — Intelligent Financial Markets Pty Ltd
- FSC (Belize) — FBS Markets Inc., License 000102/460 — the entity that runs the bonus program
- FSCA (South Africa) — Trade Stone SA (Pty) Ltd, FSP 50885
FBS has operated since 2009 and claims more than 27 million clients across 150+ countries. Bonus-eligible clients trade under the Belize entity, but the group answers to CySEC and ASIC at the top.
InstaForex Regulation
InstaForex’s recorded licensing:
- FSC (British Virgin Islands) — License SIBA/L/14/1082, InstaFinance Ltd (with an Insta Global Ltd entity in St. Vincent and the Grenadines also noted in our records)
One offshore license, no tier-one oversight anywhere in the group, since 2007. InstaForex does not serve US residents.
Regulation Verdict
FBS, clearly. Two tier-one licenses plus two regional ones versus a single BVI registration. Both brokers serve bonus clients from offshore entities — that is the industry norm — but the corporate standards those entities inherit differ materially. If you are choosing where to hold four figures or more, this section outweighs every bonus percentage below.
Deposit Bonus Head-to-Head
Important: forex bonuses are banned for retail clients in the EU, UK, Australia, and the US (ESMA, FCA, ASIC, CFTC). The offers below apply only to clients of offshore entities in eligible countries. Background: why forex bonuses are banned in the EU and UK.
Both brokers’ deposit bonuses are active and verified — re-checked against the official T&C documents on 7 August 2026. That makes this a genuine head-to-head, and the designs could hardly be more different.
FBS Deposit Bonus: Simple Margin Cushion
- 100% on your first deposit, then tiered by subsequent deposit size: 10% ($100-250), 20% ($250-500), 30% ($500-1,000), 40% ($1,000-2,500), 50% ($2,500-5,000), 60% ($5,000+)
- Maximum $10,000 bonus per deposit, $25,000 total across accounts — and the total can be reached more than once
- No volume requirement of any kind. The bonus is non-withdrawable margin credit; your own funds are consumed first, bonus second
- Profits are withdrawable freely at any time, with no cap
- Withdrawing deposited funds deducts an equal amount of bonus; the bonus is removed if equity falls to or below the bonus amount, and expires after 28 days without a deposit or new position
- Works on all account types including Cent; granted automatically (program running since 14 July 2025, no stated end date)
- Provenance note: the current T&C PDF contains no country-eligibility clause, so treat our recorded country list (South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Malaysia, Philippines, Brazil, Argentina, Cameroon, Thailand, Turkey) as needing verification — the practical test is whether the bonus appears on your qualifying deposit
InstaForex Deposit Bonuses: Bigger Numbers, Harder Strings
30% Welcome Bonus (the reasonable one): 30% credited on every deposit with no maximum and no time limit. Profits are withdrawable without restriction. The bonus itself can even become withdrawable — something FBS never offers — after trading bonus x 3 in InstaForex lots (note the unit: 1 market lot = 10 InstaForex lots, so a $150 bonus needs 450 InstaForex lots, i.e. 45 standard lots). Account leverage is capped at 1:1000, stop-out is 10%, and the bonus auto-cancels if withdrawals push it above 30% of your free margin. Combinable with the InstaForex Club bonus up to 40% total.
100% Bonus, tiered (the hard one): 100% on deposits up to $2,000, 50% on the $2,000-5,000 portion, 30% above $5,000 — new accounts only. No volume requirement, but: the bonus is non-withdrawable, any withdrawal from the account cancels it in full, it is annulled if you place no trades for 30 days, it is annulled automatically if equity falls below 120% of the bonus amount, and campaign accounts are capped at 1:200 leverage.
A $500 First Deposit, Three Ways
| FBS 100% | InstaForex 100% | InstaForex 30% | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bonus credited | $500 | $500 | $150 |
| Volume required | None | None | 450 InstaForex lots (45 standard) to withdraw the bonus itself |
| Profits withdrawable | Anytime, uncapped | Yes — but any withdrawal cancels the bonus | Anytime, uncapped |
| Survives a partial withdrawal? | Partially — bonus deducted 1:1 | No — fully cancelled | Yes, unless bonus exceeds 30% of free margin |
| Other conditions | 28-day activity clock; removed if equity ≤ bonus | Must trade every 30 days; annulled below 120% equity; 1:200 leverage | 1:1000 leverage; 10% stop-out |
The pattern is clear. FBS’s design assumes you will withdraw eventually and degrades gracefully when you do. InstaForex’s 100% bonus assumes you will not withdraw, and punishes you totally when you do — while its equity floor means one bad drawdown deletes the cushion exactly when you need it. InstaForex’s 30% bonus is the sleeper here: smaller, but with a real (if steep) path to owning the bonus outright. More on decoding these structures: deposit bonus terms explained and why bonus math makes withdrawal hard.
Deposit Bonus Verdict
FBS for most traders; InstaForex 30% for patient volume grinders; InstaForex 100% for almost nobody. FBS delivers the same 100% headline with none of the cancellation traps. The InstaForex 30% offer is the one genuinely differentiated product — uncapped, permanent, and convertible — but converting it requires volume most retail traders will not reach. No-Deposit Bonuses: Neither Is Verified
Honesty over hype: neither broker currently has a no-deposit offer our Matrix treats as verified.
- FBS Quick Start ($100): recorded June 2026 as an app-only offer — complete a 7-step educational program in the FBS Trader app, 30 days, profit withdrawal capped at $100. Every promo-page fetch redirected to the homepage, and FBS’s own blog has published a piece explaining that it does not offer a welcome bonus as policy. Its older Level Up bonus ($70/$140) is discontinued. Status: genuinely uncertain — check inside the app. Details: FBS no deposit bonus guide.
- InstaForex StartUp (up to $3,500): advertised maximum differs across InstaForex’s own pages ($1,000 / $3,500 / $5,000). Recorded terms: no verification to receive it, account converts to demo after 7 days without a real deposit, and profits unlock only after a real deposit plus bonus x 3 in InstaForex lots — for a $100 bonus, 300 InstaForex lots (30 standard lots). Status: unverified.
If a no-deposit bonus is the point, neither broker is the strong pick right now — the verified offers live on our no-deposit bonus pillar, currently led by XM’s $50 offer (see XM vs InstaForex for that comparison).
Minimum Deposit, Platforms, and Everything Else
- Entry cost: InstaForex’s $1 minimum edges FBS’s confirmed $5 — neither is a real constraint. Both support cent-account trading for small-capital risk control.
- Platforms: identical core — MT4 and MT5 at both — plus a proprietary app each. FBS’s app is more central to its offering (promotions, education, and the recorded Quick Start bonus all live there); InstaForex’s app is a companion to MetaTrader.
- Cashback: both recorded, neither verified. FBS at up to $15/lot (page redirects; unclear if permanent) — see FBS cashback guide. InstaForex Club at 1%-10% per deposit, which can lift the 30% bonus to 40%.
- Contests: InstaForex records a Chancy Deposit draw ($50,000 monthly fund, minimum $3,000 single deposit to enter — a raffle, not a bonus; unverified).
- Withdrawal process at FBS: covered step-by-step in our FBS withdrawal guide.
Who Should Choose FBS?
- You want the 100% match without cancellation traps. Profits withdrawable anytime; partial withdrawals cost you proportionally, not totally.
- Regulation is part of your decision. CySEC + ASIC at group level versus a single BVI license is not a close call.
- You trade from a phone. The app-first ecosystem is built for exactly that.
- You are in Africa or Southeast Asia — FBS’s recorded bonus-country list covers the major markets, with the verification caveat noted above.
Who Should Choose InstaForex?
A narrower case, stated honestly: InstaForex fits if you specifically want the uncapped 30% bonus on every deposit — no other broker in this comparison credits every top-up indefinitely — and your normal trading volume will eventually clear bonus x 3 in InstaForex lots, making the bonus itself yours. The $1 minimum deposit is also the lowest we track. Balance that against single-jurisdiction regulation and the harsh mechanics of its 100% offer, keep balances modest, and read the bonus agreements first. Our full assessment: InstaForex review.
The Verdict: FBS vs InstaForex in 2026
FBS is the stronger broker for most traders — better regulated (7.5 vs 6.5 in our scoring), simpler verified bonus mechanics, and a deposit-bonus design that respects the fact that traders eventually withdraw money. InstaForex’s genuine edge is the uncapped, convertible 30% bonus for high-volume depositors; its headline offers — the $3,500 StartUp and the 100% match — look better in an advertisement than in the agreement clauses.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which deposit bonus is better: FBS or InstaForex?
For most traders, FBS. Both offer 100% on a first deposit, but FBS’s version has no volume requirement, lets you withdraw profits at any time, and only deducts bonus proportionally when you withdraw funds. InstaForex’s 100% bonus cancels entirely on any withdrawal, requires a trade at least every 30 days, and is annulled if equity falls below 120% of the bonus. The exception: InstaForex’s separate 30% bonus is uncapped, applies to every deposit, and can itself be withdrawn after trading bonus x 3 in InstaForex lots — uniquely generous if you genuinely trade that volume.
Does FBS still offer a no-deposit bonus?
Unverified. Our records show a $100 Quick Start bonus inside the FBS Trader app (7-step program, 30 days, $100 profit cap), but the promo page redirects to the homepage and FBS’s own blog describes not offering a welcome bonus as a deliberate policy. Its older Level Up no-deposit offer is discontinued. Check the FBS app for your region before counting on it, and see the verified alternatives on our no-deposit bonus pillar.
What is the catch with the InstaForex 100% bonus?
Three clauses in the official agreement (re-verified 7 August 2026): any withdrawal from the account cancels the entire bonus; the bonus is annulled automatically if your equity falls below 120% of the bonus amount; and it is annulled if you open no trades for 30 days. Campaign accounts are also capped at 1:200 leverage, versus 1:1000 on InstaForex’s 30% bonus accounts. It is a bonus designed for accounts that only ever deposit.
Is InstaForex safe to use?
InstaForex has operated since 2007, but its recorded regulation is a single offshore license — BVI FSC (SIBA/L/14/1082) — with no tier-one oversight in the group. That does not make it a scam; it does mean fewer protections and less regulatory recourse than FBS, whose group holds CySEC and ASIC licenses. If you use InstaForex, the sensible pattern is modest balances, early withdrawal tests, and full reading of the bonus agreements, which InstaForex does publish openly.
Can I combine bonuses at these brokers?
At InstaForex, the 30% Welcome Bonus can combine with the InstaForex Club loyalty bonus to reach up to 40% per deposit, but different bonus types cannot share one account — you choose 30% or 100% per account. At FBS, the deposit bonus is a single automatic program; our records show no combinable client-side offers, with the unverified Quick Start bonus living on a separate app track. Details on stacking rules across brokers: can you have multiple forex bonuses?
This comparison was researched and written by Tim Morris, founder of forex-bonus.com. All figures come from our Broker & Bonus Matrix: the FBS deposit-bonus T&C PDF and InstaForex’s 30% and 100% bonus agreements were re-verified against official documents on 7 August 2026; offers marked unverified are flagged as such. Bonus terms change — confirm on the broker’s own pages before claiming.
