AvaTrade does not currently offer a no deposit bonus. Our team reviewed AvaTrade’s published promotions in June 2026, and there is no free bonus that lets you trade without funding an account first. What AvaTrade does run is a first-deposit welcome bonus (20% of your deposit, up to $10,000) and a refer-a-friend program — both limited to specific countries. This guide explains exactly what AvaTrade offers, who qualifies, whether the deposit bonus is worth pursuing, and which verified no deposit bonuses from other vetted brokers you can claim instead.
Disclosure: forex-bonus.com may earn a commission when you sign up through our links. This never influences our ratings or reviews. Trading forex carries significant risk — most retail traders lose money. See our full affiliate disclosure and risk warning.
Availability note: Forex bonuses are banned for retail clients in the EU (ESMA), UK (FCA), Australia (ASIC), and the US (CFTC/NFA). The offers discussed on this page are available only to eligible traders in permitted regions. AvaTrade’s own bonus program is explicitly reserved for clients outside those regulated markets, and its country lists are narrower than most — details below.
The Short Answer
There is no AvaTrade no deposit bonus in 2026. If another website tells you otherwise, check the date on their page and then check AvaTrade’s own promotions section — our June 2026 review of the published terms found no active NDB. AvaTrade’s promotional lineup is built entirely around deposit-based and referral offers.
That is not an oversight on AvaTrade’s part. It is a direct consequence of how the broker is structured:
- AvaTrade is one of the most heavily regulated brokers in retail forex, holding registrations that span the Central Bank of Ireland, ASIC in Australia, Japan’s JFSA and FFAJ, South Africa’s FSCA, Abu Dhabi’s ADGM/FSRA, the BVI FSC, and more. We break the full list down in Is AvaTrade Legit & Regulated?
- Most of those regulators prohibit promotional bonuses for retail clients. The EU, UK, and Australian regimes ban them outright, which is why AvaTrade’s bonus program exists only for clients of its non-EU entities in a short list of eligible countries.
- No deposit bonuses are a customer-acquisition tool used mostly by offshore-entity brokers. A broker with AvaTrade’s compliance footprint has less commercial room — and less need — to hand out unfunded trading credit.
So the honest framing is this: you give up the free-credit route, and in exchange you get a broker whose oversight most bonus-offering brokers cannot match. Whether that trade-off suits you depends on whether you have capital to deposit. Both paths are covered below.
What AvaTrade Actually Offers in 2026
Our team’s June 2026 review of AvaTrade’s published terms found two promotions. Full terms for both live on the AvaTrade bonus page.
1. Welcome Deposit Bonus — 20% of Your First Deposit, Up to $10,000
AvaTrade’s flagship promotion is a classic deposit bonus paid as trading credit on your first deposit. The published tier structure:
| Your first deposit | Bonus credited |
|---|---|
| $200 | $40 |
| $500 | $100 |
| $1,000 | $200 |
| $2,500 | $500 |
| $5,000 | $1,000 |
| $7,500 | $1,500 |
| $50,000 | $10,000 |
Source: AvaTrade published terms, reviewed June 2026. AvaTrade states all promotions can be changed or cancelled at any time — confirm the live terms in your account area before depositing.
The key conditions, from the published terms:
- First-time deposits only. The bonus applies to your first deposit, up to $50,000. Your account must be funded and verified, and a first trade opened, before the bonus is credited.
- Volume requirement: 30,000 base currency units traded per $1 of bonus. Example from AvaTrade’s own terms: a $200 bonus (from a $1,000 deposit) requires $6,000,000 in traded volume — 60 standard lots — before the bonus is truly yours.
- Time limit: 100 days from the deposit to complete the volume requirement. If you fall short, the bonus is cancelled.
- No profit cap. Unlike many bonus schemes, profits are fully withdrawable once the volume requirement is met.
- Eligible instruments: forex and CFDs.
Eligibility is the catch. Per the terms our team reviewed in June 2026, the deposit bonus is available to traders in Nigeria and South Africa, while the exclusion list covers not just the EU, UK, Australia, US, Canada, and Japan, but also many of the markets our readers trade from: India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Thailand, and the UAE are all excluded. If you are in one of those countries, the AvaTrade bonus route is closed regardless of how much you deposit — skip ahead to the alternatives.
2. Refer-a-Friend — 10% of Your Friend’s First Deposit ($20-$500)
The second verified offer is a referral program, active per AvaTrade’s official terms effective October 1, 2025, until further notice:
- You earn 10% of your referred friend’s first deposit as cash credit, between $20 and $500 per referral.
- Your friend must deposit $200-$5,000 and open at least 5 trades before the reward is allocated.
- One reward per new client. You must be a direct retail client (not an affiliate), and the referral link must not be published publicly — it is for personal sharing only.
- The program is operated by Ava Trade Markets Limited (the group’s BVI-regulated entity), and the eligible-country list again centres on Nigeria and South Africa, with the EU, Canada, UAE, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and several other markets excluded.
Referral programs reward people who already trade with the broker — they do not help you start without a deposit. For how these schemes work generally, see our guide to forex referral bonuses.
Is the AvaTrade Deposit Bonus Actually Worth It?
Run the numbers before you deposit. The volume requirement — 30,000 base currency units per $1 of bonus — converts to 0.3 standard lots per bonus dollar. Using AvaTrade’s own published example:
- $1,000 deposit → $200 bonus → 60 standard lots required in 100 days. That is roughly 0.6 lots per calendar day, sustained for over three months, from a $1,200 account. Position sizing that heavy on that balance is aggressive risk-taking by any standard.
- $200 deposit → $40 bonus → 12 standard lots in 100 days. Smaller absolute number, same problem: the volume required is large relative to the account.
This is the standard economics of deposit bonuses, and it is why we teach readers to calculate the turnover requirement before chasing any offer. The honest verdict:
- Worth it if you are in an eligible country, you were going to deposit and trade actively with AvaTrade anyway, and you treat the bonus as a possible by-product of your normal trading — not a target that dictates your position sizes.
- Not worth it if the volume requirement would push you to trade bigger or more often than your plan allows. A cancelled bonus costs you nothing, but oversized losing trades cost real money. Our guide to deposit bonus terms covers the traps in detail.
- Compare the cashback route. If you genuinely trade 60+ lots in a quarter, per-lot forex cashback pays on every trade with no deadline and no cancellation risk — for high-volume traders it often beats a one-off bonus.
If AvaTrade’s regulatory profile is what attracts you, you can open an AvaTrade account with or without the bonus — the minimum deposit is $100, though the published bonus tiers start at a $200 deposit. Read our full AvaTrade review first.
Verified No Deposit Alternatives to AvaTrade
If you searched “AvaTrade no deposit bonus” because you want to start trading without depositing, these offers from other brokers on our vetted list were verified active in June 2026:
| Broker | Bonus | Volume requirement | Profit cap | Notable terms |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Traders Trust | $200 | 10 standard lots in 30 days | $200 | MT4 only; no hedging or EAs |
| LiteFinance | $50 | No explicit lot minimum | None stated | Promo code “Welcome”; deposit required before withdrawing profits |
| XM | $30 | 10 micro lots + 5 round-turn trades | None stated | Claim within 30 days of account opening; SMS verification |
| Windsor Brokers | $30 credit | 1 lot closed + 20 trades | Min $60 profit before withdrawal | 6-month validity; Prime account |
All four verified June 2026 against each broker’s published terms. Offers change — check the current list in our Bonus Finder before signing up.
Eligibility fit matters here too. All four offers above accept traders from Nigeria and South Africa — the same markets AvaTrade’s bonus targets — and XM, Traders Trust, and LiteFinance also cover India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Pakistan, and Bangladesh (Windsor covers those too, except Malaysia, which its terms exclude). One caution in the other direction: JustMarkets also runs a verified $30 no deposit bonus, but its terms exclude Nigeria and South Africa, so we have left it out of the table for this page’s audience.
For the complete ranked list with terms decoded, see best forex no deposit bonuses, and read the parent guide on the no deposit bonus pillar to understand the standard restrictions — volume requirements, profit caps, and verification rules — before you claim anything.
How to Decide: AvaTrade vs the NDB Route
Two different tools for two different situations:
- You have no capital to deposit right now. AvaTrade has nothing for you today. Claim a verified NDB from the table above — Traders Trust’s $200 offer is the largest verified no deposit bonus on our list — and treat it as a live-market test drive, not an income source. Understand whether NDB profits can actually be withdrawn before you start.
- You have capital and want the safest structure. A broker regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland, ASIC, Japan’s JFSA, and South Africa’s FSCA is a fundamentally different proposition from the offshore entities that fund most NDBs. If that oversight matters to you, AvaTrade is a credible home for a funded account — bonus or no bonus.
- You want both. Nothing stops you claiming an NDB elsewhere while running a funded account at AvaTrade. Just never open duplicate accounts at the same broker to farm bonuses — that is the fastest way to get a bonus cancelled and an account closed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does AvaTrade offer a no deposit bonus in 2026?
No. Our team reviewed AvaTrade’s published promotions in June 2026 and found no active no deposit bonus. AvaTrade’s promotional lineup consists of a first-deposit welcome bonus (20% of the deposit, up to $10,000) and a refer-a-friend program paying 10% of a referred friend’s first deposit ($20-$500). Both require money to enter the account — yours or your friend’s — so neither is a true NDB.
What is the AvaTrade welcome bonus and who can claim it?
Per the terms reviewed in June 2026, AvaTrade credits 20% of your first deposit as bonus funds, up to $10,000 on a $50,000 deposit, with published tiers starting at $40 on a $200 deposit. Eligibility is narrow: Nigeria and South Africa are on the published eligible list, while the EU, UK, US, Australia, Canada, Japan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Thailand, and the UAE are excluded. Full terms on our AvaTrade bonus page.
Can you withdraw the AvaTrade deposit bonus?
The bonus converts to withdrawable value only after you trade 30,000 base currency units per $1 of bonus within 100 days of depositing — AvaTrade’s published example is $6,000,000 of volume (60 standard lots) for a $200 bonus. There is no profit cap: once the volume requirement is met, profits are fully withdrawable. If you miss the 100-day deadline, the bonus is cancelled.
Why do heavily regulated brokers like AvaTrade avoid no deposit bonuses?
Because their primary regulators prohibit or restrict promotional incentives for retail clients. The EU (ESMA), UK (FCA), and Australia (ASIC) all ban bonuses outright, and AvaTrade holds licenses in all three regions. Its bonus program therefore runs only through non-EU entities for a short list of eligible countries. No deposit bonuses specifically are dominated by brokers operating mainly under offshore licenses — we explain the trade-off in offshore vs onshore brokers.
What are the best no deposit bonuses if AvaTrade has none?
The verified-active NDBs on our June 2026 list are Traders Trust ($200, 10 lots in 30 days, $200 profit cap), LiteFinance ($50 with promo code Welcome), XM ($30, 10 micro lots plus 5 round-turn trades), and Windsor Brokers ($30 credit, 1 lot plus 20 trades). Compare current terms in our Bonus Finder and read the no deposit bonus guide before claiming.
⚠️ Risk Warning: Forex and CFD trading carries significant risk. Most retail traders lose money. Never trade with funds you cannot afford to lose.
