HFM withdrawal is handled through the myHF portal at my.hfm.com, where you choose a payment method, enter your amount, and submit the request. HFM (formerly HotForex) supports bank wire transfers, credit/debit cards, e-wallets, and cryptocurrency, with most e-wallet withdrawals processed within 24 hours. HFM does not charge withdrawal fees on its end for most methods, though third-party payment processors and banks may apply their own charges.

This guide covers every HFM withdrawal method, processing times, fees, minimum and maximum limits, how bonus funds affect your withdrawal, and the exact steps to follow. HFM is regulated by the FSCA (South Africa), FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus), DFSA (Dubai), FSA (Seychelles), and CMA (Kenya), and serves clients in over 150 countries. The broker’s minimum deposit starts at $5, making it one of the most accessible options for traders in emerging markets. For our full assessment of the broker, see our HFM broker review.

Verified June 2026. forex-bonus.com may earn a commission through broker links. This never influences our ratings or recommendations. Full disclosure. Trading forex carries significant risk — most retail traders lose money. See our review methodology.

Availability note: HFM operates through multiple regulated entities. The withdrawal methods, processing times, and limits described in this guide may vary depending on which HFM entity you are registered with (HF Markets SV Ltd, HF Markets SA, HF Markets KE, etc.) and your country of residence. Always confirm current details in your myHF Area.

HFM Withdrawal Methods Compared

HFM offers several withdrawal channels. Which methods are available to you depends on your country, your HFM entity, and the payment method you used to deposit. Like most regulated brokers, HFM enforces a same-method withdrawal policy: you must withdraw to the same method you deposited with, up to the deposited amount. Profits above that amount can go to any available method.

Important: HFM periodically updates available payment methods and limits. The figures above are sourced from publicly available information and third-party reporting as of June 2026. HFM’s website blocked automated verification (HTTP 403), so some values could not be confirmed directly. Always check your myHF Area or contact HFM support for the current details that apply to your account and region.

HFM’s Same-Method Withdrawal Policy

HFM follows the same withdrawal priority system used across the industry. Understanding this rule prevents the most common withdrawal confusion.

The rule: Withdraw to the same payment method you used to deposit, up to the amount deposited through that method. Only after fully refunding all deposit methods can remaining profits be withdrawn via a different channel.

How the priority works:

  1. Card refunds first. If you deposited $500 by Visa, your first $500 in withdrawals must return to that Visa. This is an anti-money-laundering requirement, not an HFM-specific policy.
  2. E-wallet refunds second. After card deposits are covered, withdrawals return to any e-wallets used to deposit, up to those deposited amounts.
  3. Remaining profits above all deposited amounts can be withdrawn to any available method, typically bank wire or e-wallet.

Example: You deposit $300 via Visa and $200 via Skrill ($500 total). You profit $400, bringing your balance to $900. Your first $300 must go back to Visa. The next $200 must go to Skrill. The remaining $400 in profits can be withdrawn via any method you choose.

Step-by-Step: How to Withdraw from HFM

All HFM withdrawals are processed through the myHF Area. You cannot withdraw directly from the MT4, MT5, or HFM App trading interface.

Step 1: Log Into the myHF Area

Go to my.hfm.com and sign in with your registered email and password. Complete any two-factor authentication if enabled on your account.

Step 2: Verify Your Account

HFM requires full Know Your Customer (KYC) verification before processing withdrawals. This means uploading a valid government-issued ID (passport, national ID card, or driver’s license) and a proof of address document (utility bill or bank statement dated within the last six months). If your account is not fully verified, your withdrawal request will be delayed or rejected.

Verify your account as soon as you register — do not wait until you want to withdraw.

Step 3: Navigate to the Withdrawal Section

From the myHF Area dashboard, find the “Withdraw Funds” or “Cashier” section. Select the trading account you want to withdraw from if you have multiple accounts.

Step 4: Select Your Withdrawal Method

Choose the payment method. HFM will display the methods available to you based on your deposit history and country. Due to the same-method policy, the method you deposited with appears first.

Step 5: Enter the Withdrawal Amount

Type the amount you want to withdraw. Check your free margin in your trading platform before submitting. Open positions lock up margin, which reduces the amount you can withdraw. If you request more than your available free margin, HFM will reject the request.

Free margin calculation: Free margin = equity minus used margin. Close open positions or reduce position sizes if you need to free up more funds.

Step 6: Confirm and Submit

Review the details and confirm the request. HFM sends a confirmation email to your registered address. Click the confirmation link to finalize the withdrawal if required.

Step 7: Wait for Processing

HFM processes withdrawals during business hours. E-wallet withdrawals typically appear within 24 hours. Card and bank wire transfers take longer due to intermediary processing on the receiving side. You can track the status of your withdrawal request within the myHF Area.

HFM Bonus Withdrawals: What You Can and Cannot Cash Out

HFM runs several active bonus programs, and each has different withdrawal rules. Understanding these rules before you deposit prevents frustration later. For a general overview of bonus withdrawal mechanics, see our guide on whether you can withdraw a forex bonus.

Supercharged Bonus (100% Deposit Match)

The HFM Supercharged Bonus matches qualifying deposits at 100% up to $50,000. This is a credit-type bonus. The bonus amount is non-withdrawable, but profits earned while trading with the bonus are withdrawable. There is no specific volume requirement to maintain the bonus, though you also earn SuperCharged Rebates ($2 per standard lot on Gold, 0.2 pips per lot on Forex) up to a lifetime maximum of $8,000 in rebates.

Key withdrawal rules for the Supercharged Bonus:

  • The bonus credit itself cannot be withdrawn
  • Profits are withdrawable
  • Any withdrawal from the bonus account removes the bonus on a 1:1 basis (withdraw $100 of deposit and $100 of bonus is also removed)
  • Minimum deposit: $250 into a Premium or Islamic account
  • The bonus is removed after 60 consecutive days of inactivity
  • One bonus account per client/IP address

What this means in practice: If you deposit $1,000 and receive a $1,000 bonus (total $2,000 margin), then profit $500, your balance is $2,500. You can withdraw your $1,000 deposit and $500 profit, but when you withdraw the $1,000 deposit, the $1,000 bonus is removed too. You keep the $500 profit. You also keep any rebates earned during trading.

For more details on this and other HFM promotions, visit the HFM bonus page.

Top-Up Bonus (20%)

The HFM Top-Up Bonus adds 20% on every transfer into the Top-Up Bonus account, up to $5,000. The bonus is non-withdrawable and can be lost without limitation if the account balance falls below the bonus amount. Withdrawals trigger proportionate bonus removal. The percentage may vary from 10% to 100% depending on active regional campaigns.

Shield 500 Account

The Shield 500 is a welcome offer for first-time depositors. Deposit at least $10 within 10 days of registration, and trading losses during your first 25 days are converted into tradable credit up to $500. The loss protection credit is not withdrawable, but any profits you earn are. This offer targets Africa-focused markets with deposit currencies in KES, NGN, and GHS.

Rescue Bonus (30%)

The Rescue Bonus provides 30% on deposits over $50, up to a cumulative $7,000. The bonus serves as usable margin and is non-withdrawable. Withdrawals trigger proportionate bonus removal. If your account hits stop-out, you may qualify for an additional 30% Stop-Out Reward on subsequent deposits, up to $3,000 cumulative.

General Bonus Withdrawal Rule

Across all HFM bonus types, the pattern is consistent: the bonus credit is never directly withdrawable. Your deposited funds and profits are withdrawable. Any withdrawal reduces or removes the associated bonus. For step-by-step strategies on withdrawing no-deposit bonus profits at any broker, see our dedicated guide: How to Withdraw No-Deposit Bonus Profits.

HFM Withdrawal Fees

HFM does not charge withdrawal fees on its end for most payment methods. However, third-party costs can apply and vary significantly depending on the payment channel and your location.

Fee TypeWho Charges ItTypical Amount
HFM processing feeHFM$0 for most methods
Bank intermediary fee (wire)Correspondent banks$15-$50 depending on corridor
Receiving bank fee (wire)Your local bank$0-$25 depending on bank
Card processing feeCard issuerUsually $0 (processed as refund)
E-wallet feeSkrill/Neteller/etc.Varies; Skrill charges up to 1% on some corridors
Crypto network feeBlockchainVaries by network congestion
Currency conversion feeHFM or intermediaryCheck broker website for current conversion rates

Tip for minimizing fees: If you are in Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, or another African market, local bank transfers or mobile money often have the lowest total cost. E-wallets like Skrill and Neteller are a good middle ground between speed and cost. Bank wire is best reserved for larger withdrawals where the fixed intermediary fee is a smaller percentage of the total.

Common HFM Withdrawal Problems and Solutions

Withdrawal Request Rejected

The most common reasons HFM rejects a withdrawal:

  • Account not fully verified. Complete KYC (ID + proof of address) before requesting.
  • Insufficient free margin. Close open positions or reduce lot sizes to free up withdrawable balance.
  • Same-method rule violated. You must refund your deposit method first.
  • Bonus account restrictions. Withdrawing from a bonus account removes bonus credit 1:1.

Withdrawal Delayed

If your withdrawal is approved but the funds have not arrived:

  • E-wallets: Should arrive within 24 hours. If not, check your e-wallet account for pending transactions. Contact HFM support if nothing appears after 48 hours.
  • Bank wire: Allow 2-5 business days. Weekends and public holidays extend this. Contact your bank first, then HFM support if it exceeds 7 business days.
  • Cards: Card refunds can take 2-10 business days depending on the issuer. Some banks show refunds only on the next statement.

Internal Transfer vs. Withdrawal

HFM allows internal transfers between your trading accounts within the myHF Area. These are not the same as withdrawals. An internal transfer moves funds between your own HFM accounts (e.g., from a Premium account to a Micro account). No fees apply and transfers are instant. To move money out of HFM entirely, you must use the withdrawal function.

Withdrawal During Active Bonus

If you have an active HFM bonus, any withdrawal from the bonus account removes the bonus proportionally. Plan your withdrawals strategically:

  1. Check whether you want to keep the bonus active before withdrawing
  2. Calculate the bonus removal impact using the 1:1 ratio
  3. Consider withdrawing only profits that exceed your original deposit plus bonus
  4. If you no longer need the bonus, withdraw freely — the bonus removal has no cost to you beyond losing the extra margin

For a broader perspective on this topic and strategies across multiple brokers, see our complete forex bonus guide.

HFM Withdrawal Times by Method

The total time to receive your funds depends on two stages: HFM’s internal processing and the external payment network’s processing.

MethodHFM ProcessingExternal ProcessingTotal Estimated Time
Skrill / NetellerWithin 24 hoursInstant to minutesUnder 24 hours
FasaPayWithin 24 hoursInstant to minutesUnder 24 hours
Crypto (BTC)Within 24 hours10-60 minutes (blockchain)Under 24 hours
Local Bank TransferWithin 24 hours1-3 business days1-4 business days
Bank WireWithin 24 hours2-5 business days2-6 business days
Visa / MastercardWithin 24 hours2-10 business days (issuer)2-10 business days

Fastest option: E-wallets (Skrill, Neteller) deliver funds quickest in most countries. If you need rapid access to withdrawn funds, deposit via e-wallet so you can also withdraw via e-wallet.

HFM Withdrawal Limits

HFM withdrawal minimums and maximums depend on the payment method and your account entity. Here is what we know:

  • Minimum withdrawal: $5 for most methods. Bank wire minimums tend to be higher ($50-$100) because of the fixed costs involved.
  • Maximum per transaction: E-wallets and cards may have per-transaction caps set by the payment provider, not HFM. Bank wire has no stated maximum.
  • Daily/monthly limits: Check your myHF Area for any daily or monthly withdrawal limits — some HFM entities may impose limits depending on verification level and account type.

The $5 minimum deposit that HFM advertises for account opening applies separately from withdrawal minimums. A low deposit threshold makes HFM accessible, but ensure the amount you want to withdraw meets the minimum for your chosen payment method.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does an HFM withdrawal take?

E-wallet withdrawals (Skrill, Neteller) typically process within 24 hours. Bank wire transfers take 2-6 business days total. Card refunds take 2-10 business days depending on your issuing bank. HFM’s internal processing is usually completed within 24 hours for all methods; the remaining time is external payment network processing.

Does HFM charge withdrawal fees?

HFM does not charge withdrawal fees on most methods. However, your bank, card issuer, or e-wallet provider may apply fees. Bank wire transfers often incur intermediary bank charges of $15-$50. E-wallet providers may charge percentage-based fees on their end.

Can I withdraw HFM bonus money?

No. HFM bonuses (Supercharged, Top-Up, Rescue) are credit-type bonuses and the bonus amount itself is non-withdrawable. You can withdraw your original deposit and any profits earned while trading with the bonus. Any withdrawal removes the bonus proportionally on a 1:1 basis. For a complete explanation, see our guide: Can You Withdraw a Forex Bonus?

What is the minimum HFM withdrawal?

The minimum withdrawal amount depends on your payment method. Most e-wallet and card methods have a $5 minimum. Bank wire minimums are typically higher at around $50. Check your myHF Area for the exact minimums available to your account.

Why was my HFM withdrawal rejected?

The most common reasons are: incomplete KYC verification, insufficient free margin (open trades are using your margin), attempting to withdraw to a different method than you deposited with, or requesting less than the minimum withdrawal amount. Verify your account fully, close positions if needed, and follow the same-method policy.
