HFM (HotForex) Bonus Terms & Conditions Breakdown

Understanding the fine print is critical when evaluating any forex bonus. Below is a detailed breakdown of each active HFM (HotForex) offer, covering the exact requirements that determine whether you can actually profit from these bonuses.

Bonus terms unavailable in your region

Because forex bonuses are banned for retail clients in the EU, UK, Australia, and the US, we do not display HFM (HotForex)'s bonus amounts or terms in your jurisdiction. You can still read the full HFM (HotForex) review covering regulation, platforms, and trading conditions.

HFM runs one of the largest promotion suites of any broker we track: nine distinct offers in our Broker & Bonus Matrix — though the lineup shrank in 2026, with the flagship 100% Supercharged Bonus and the 30% Rescue Bonus withdrawn from the international site. This guide covers every offer with the status our team actually verified — active, unverified, or expired — rather than presenting the whole list as live, which is what most pages ranking for “HFM bonus” do. All figures were verified on August 7, 2026 against HFM’s own published terms-and-conditions documents (v2026/03 and later); where we could not confirm a figure, we say so plainly.

Disclosure: forex-bonus.com may earn a commission when you sign up through our links. This never influences our ratings or reviews. Trading forex carries significant risk — most retail traders lose money. See our full affiliate disclosure and risk warning.

Availability note: HFM bonuses are not available in the EU, UK, Australia, or the US, where regulators ban promotional incentives for retail traders. HFM (formerly HotForex) operates multiple entities — promotions run through its international entity (HF Markets (SV) Ltd, FSA Seychelles), not through its CySEC, FCA, or DFSA entities. Offers also vary by region: some are Africa-focused, others exclude specific countries. Confirm eligibility for your country in the HFM client area.

100% Supercharged Bonus (Expired)

Update (verified August 7, 2026): The 100% Supercharged Bonus has been withdrawn from HFM’s international site — its promotion pages and official T&C links no longer resolve, and our Matrix marks it expired. The terms below are preserved for reference for existing bonus holders. HFM’s verified active offers are the 20% Top-Up Bonus (up to $5,000), Shield 500 loss protection, Return on Free Margin, and the Trophy Road loyalty program.

HFM’s former flagship. While it ran, it doubled qualifying deposits with 100% bonus credit, up to $50,000 in total bonus, and layered per-lot rebates on top:

  • Minimum deposit: $250 into a Premium or Islamic account
  • Bonus credit: 100% of the deposit; non-withdrawable, but profits made trading with it are withdrawable
  • SuperCharged rebates: $2 per standard lot on Gold, 0.2 pips per lot on Forex, up to a lifetime maximum of $8,000 in rebates
  • Rebate fine print: trades must stay open over 2 minutes for the full rebate; 1-2 minutes earns half; under 1 minute earns nothing
  • Withdrawals: any withdrawal removes bonus credit 1:1 — withdraw $100, lose $100 of bonus
  • Housekeeping: one bonus account per client and per IP address; the bonus is revoked after 60 days of inactivity

Honest read: the 100% headline was real, but the 1:1 withdrawal removal meant the credit only helped while your money stayed in. The rebate component was the quietly valuable part for active traders — it paid regardless of whether trades won — and existing holders still earn it. New clients cannot claim any of this: the live deposit match is the 20% Top-Up Bonus, and the $5 entry level is covered in our HFM minimum deposit guide.

Shield 500 (Active)

HFM’s welcome offer for first-time depositors (deposit currencies include USD, KES, NGN, and GHS — a clear signal of its Kenya/Nigeria/Ghana focus):

  • Deposit at least $10 and keep it in the account for the first 25 days
  • Trading losses during your first 25 days are covered up to $500, credited as tradable bonus at midnight on day 25
  • Leverage fixed at 1:1000 (1:500 during news), no commissions
  • The credit is not withdrawable; profits made with it are
  • Any withdrawal on or before day 25 permanently disqualifies the protection; later withdrawals remove the bonus proportionally

Resolved on August 7, 2026: the current T&C (v2026/03) states no trading-volume requirement — the previously unverified lot condition does not exist in the governing document, and the old “deposit within 10 days of registration” clause is gone too. Crypto deposits are ineligible, and you cannot combine Shield 500 with other bonus programs. To be clear about what this offer is not: your deposit is real money and can be lost — the conversion mechanism softens early losses into credit, it does not eliminate risk.

20% Top-Up Bonus (Active)

Now verified against the official T&C (v2026/03) and three live HFM pages: a 20% bonus on transfers into a dedicated Top-Up Bonus account, up to $5,000, available on MT4, MT5, WebTrader, and the HFM App. The exact percentage and cap are set in your Client Area and can range from 10% to 100% by campaign. There is no volume requirement in the official terms (the “bonus ÷ 2 in standard lots” figure that circulated is not in the T&C): the credit is non-withdrawable margin, profits are withdrawable with no restrictions, any withdrawal removes bonus proportionally, and the credit is forfeited after 60 days of inactivity. Phone verification is required to activate.

30% Rescue Bonus + Stop-Out Rewards (Expired)

The recorded structure: a 30% bonus on deposits over $50 (or €40), up to $7,000 cumulative, with the bonus acting as usable margin (non-withdrawable, removed proportionally on withdrawal). If your account hits stop-out, you become eligible for 30% Stop-Out Rewards on subsequent deposits, up to $3,000 cumulative — and per our record, you must email HFM to claim them. The offer’s terms and pages have now been removed from HFM’s current site — our Matrix marks it expired as of August 7, 2026. The design still deserves a candid note for anyone holding a legacy Rescue credit: bonuses that reward you after a wipeout can encourage redepositing after losses. If you find yourself claiming a Rescue Bonus repeatedly, that is a risk-management signal, not a promotion to maximize — see our guide on using bonuses without blowing up.

Return on Free Margin (Active)

An unusual offer that pays interest-like returns on idle account funds, from a stated $1,000,000 monthly pool:

Free Margin5-50 lots/month50+ lots/month
$1,000 - $25,0002% annual rate2.5% annual rate
Over $25,0002.5% annual rate3% annual rate

Requirements: at least 5 lots per month on Forex or metals, trades held 3+ minutes, cumulative free margin above $1,000, earnings paid monthly to your wallet and withdrawable. Eligible on Premium, Zero, Cent, and Pro account types. (The China/Bangladesh exclusion we previously listed belongs to the demo contest terms, not ROFM.) Verified active August 7, 2026 against T&C v2026/03. The rates are modest — this is a retention perk for funded, active accounts, not a reason to choose a broker.

Trophy Road Loyalty Program (Active)

Launched January 2026 and verified against the official terms (v2026-05) on August 7, 2026, Trophy Road awards Trophy Road Points (TRP) per $1 million of Loyalty Volume, at rates that rise through four tiers: on the top instrument groups, Rookie 250 TRP, Rising Star 300, Pro 350, Legend 400 — while lower groups earn far less (major forex pairs: 5-8 TRP; Gold: 10-16 TRP). Extra points come from Missions and Crystal Boosters (double TRP on specific instruments, capped at 800), with a 30-day evaluation period per tier that weighs both volume and active trading days. Only round-turn trades held at least 2 minutes count, TRP resets after 365 days of inactivity, and Pro/Infinity X account types earn at reduced ratios. The prize catalog runs up to a stated $500,000 in total rewards, from cash prizes to electronics to a supercar. Loyalty programs reward volume you were going to trade anyway; they become a problem the moment they tempt you into volume you were not. Our loyalty programs guide covers how to evaluate them.

The Contests (One Active, One Replaced)

Virtual to Real Demo Contest (active) — monthly, free entry, $10,000 virtual funds at 1:200 leverage. Top three by percentage gain win $2,000 / $1,000 / $500 credited to live accounts; prize money is non-withdrawable, but profits made trading with it unlock after 10 standard lots and 50 round-turn trades. Residents of China and Bangladesh are excluded per the contest T&C, previous winners of any HFM contest cannot enter, and prizes are clawed back if the credited account sits inactive for 60 days. The only genuinely deposit-free item in HFM’s current lineup.

Traders Awards (expired) — the monthly $1,000 cash prize has ended: hfm.com now redirects its page to the successor Traders Arena ($1,700 monthly prize pool plus jackpot, running April 1 to December 31, 2026). Critical geographic catch: Traders Arena is open exclusively to residents of Malaysia, Brunei, and Singapore — traders in Nigeria, South Africa, India, and HFM’s other core markets cannot enter.

For contest strategy and what these competitions actually select for, see our broker contests guide.

What About the HFM No Deposit Bonus?

Expired. The $50 offer (Asia) / $100 JPY-equivalent (Japan) is marked expired in our Matrix as of June 2026 verification, even though stale “$50 HFM bonus” pages still rank all over the search results. The full story — what the terms were, which dated sources confirm the expiry, and which still contradict it — is documented in our dedicated HFM no deposit bonus status page.

Which HFM Bonus Fits Which Trader?

  • First-time depositor with $10+: Shield 500 is the relevant offer — no volume requirement per the current T&C, but remember the 25-day no-withdrawal condition.
  • Existing client topping up: the 20% Top-Up Bonus (up to $5,000) is now the main deposit-match offer — check the exact percentage shown in your Client Area.
  • High-volume traders: Return on Free Margin and Trophy Road stack passively on top of whatever else you claim.
  • Bonus hunters mourning the 100% match: the Supercharged Bonus is gone from the international site — do not fund an account expecting it.

Full broker context — regulation, entities, safety — lives in our HFM review and Is HFM legit? analysis, with country-specific claiming detail in the HFM India, HFM Nigeria, and HFM Kenya guides. Current offer data is tracked on the HFM bonus page.

How HFM’s Offers Compare to Verified Alternatives

HFM’s suite is broad, but breadth is not the same as fit. Against the brokers we track most closely:

BrokerHeadline Offer (verified August 2026)Min. Deposit for OfferStatus
HFM20% Top-Up up to $5,000 (100% Supercharged withdrawn)Set in Client AreaActive
XM$50 no deposit bonus + 50% deposit bonus up to $500 (then 20% to $4,500)$0 / $5Active
JustMarkets$30 no deposit bonus (as last recorded, Jun 2026)$0Unverified Aug 18, 2026 — not published on JustMarkets’ site
Tickmill$30 welcome account credit$0Active
FBS$100 Quick Start program$0Unverified

Geography check before switching: JustMarkets’ $30 excludes Nigeria and South Africa and is unverified in any case as of 18 August 2026, and Tickmill’s welcome credit excludes most of HFM’s core markets (Nigeria, South Africa, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Ghana among them) — XM’s $50 has the widest verified eligible list. If a lower entry point matters, the deposit bonus pillar and no deposit bonus pillar rank every verified offer by terms. And for traders who will be active regardless of promotions, per-lot cashback usually outearns every bonus on this page over time — it pays withdrawable cash on volume with no credit locks. Our cashback hub compares rates at partner brokers, and if you already hold an account somewhere, our IB partner code guide explains what is and is not possible for existing accounts.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the biggest HFM bonus in 2026?

The former biggest offer — the 100% Supercharged Bonus (up to $50,000) — has been withdrawn from HFM’s international site and is marked expired in our Matrix as of August 7, 2026. The biggest current deposit offer is the 20% Top-Up Bonus, up to $5,000, verified against T&C v2026/03. The Trophy Road loyalty program advertises the largest headline number overall: up to $500,000 in cumulative rewards for very high-volume traders.

Does HFM have a no deposit bonus?

No — the $50 no deposit bonus is marked expired in our Matrix (verified June 2026, re-checked against ranking sources August 7, 2026). The only zero-deposit route currently in our records is the monthly Virtual to Real Demo Contest. Full details and the evidence trail are on our HFM no deposit bonus page.

What is the HFM Shield 500 bonus?

A welcome offer for first-time depositors (deposit currencies include KES, NGN, and GHS): deposit at least $10 and keep it in place, and trading losses during your first 25 days are covered up to $500 as tradable credit, at leverage of 1:1000 with no commissions. The credit is non-withdrawable; profits are. Per the current T&C (v2026/03), verified August 7, 2026, there is no trading-volume requirement — but any withdrawal on or before day 25 permanently disqualifies the protection.

Why are some HFM bonuses marked “unverified”?

Fewer are now. Our August 7, 2026 pass located the official terms documents (v2026/03 and v2026-05) for the Top-Up Bonus, Shield 500, ROFM, Trophy Road, and the demo contest — all now verified. The offers marked expired (100% Supercharged, 30% Rescue, Traders Awards, the $50 NDB) are gone from HFM’s current site. Whatever status we record, the terms PDFs in your client area remain the binding source between our verification cycles.

Can EU or UK residents claim HFM bonuses?

No. Regulators in the EU, UK, Australia, and US prohibit bonus promotions for retail clients, and HFM’s CySEC, FCA, and DFSA entities do not offer them. HFM’s promotions run through its international entity for clients in eligible regions — the verified eligible lists in our records centre on Africa (Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana) and South and Southeast Asia. Which entity you register under is determined by your country of residence — our Is HFM legit? guide explains the entity structure.

⚠️ Risk Warning: Forex and CFD trading carries significant risk. Most retail traders lose money. Never trade with funds you cannot afford to lose. Bonus terms can change at any time — always confirm current conditions on the broker’s website before claiming.
